Dachi /達/だち/ means friends on its own. Dachisushi is founded by a group of close friends in a middle school named Nguyen Du. They met each other in the US after a school reunion and quickly share the same interest in exploring food cultures and passion in Japanese cuisine. They are inspired by every thought and care Chef Brandon puts on each sushi plate and decided to found Dachisushi together.
Since 2004, Chef Brandon followed his childhood dream to enter culinary school. He then moved to Vancouver, Canada and started his first job at a local sushi restaurant where he quickly immersed himself in Japanese culture. He then moved to America to advance his itamae from Master Matsuda. He then landed a job opportunity at Whole Foods where he reached the highest position as leader chef there. He was invited to be itamae chef position at Tomikawa, the highest ranked Japanese restaurant in Irvine, California, United States before moving on to start his own adventure named Dachisushi.
